Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is a well-known name of Winona Laura Hoowitz, born in Winona Minnesota. It was her parents after the town in which her birthplace was. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was from the Jewish family. Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Ryder has a younger brother Uria and half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder was born in the United States and moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They didn't even have electricity. Ryder became an avid books reader since there was no television. Ryder aged 12 was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. When she was in 1986, she had her first big-screen role in the film Lucas when she was just fifteen years old. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Her hope was that her acting career would change the way she dealt with bullying. Unfortunately, that did not come to pass. It was a dream she pursued. Her first big break came in 1988 through Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful parts in a variety of films. In 1993 she received two nominations to win Academy Awards. One of was for her performance In The Age of Innocence.
