Charissa is an American sportscaster born on the 5th of May 1982. ESPN analyst hired in 2012 to co-host SportsNation. She was also co-host of the ABC series Splash alongside Joey Lawrence. Thompson was born in Seattle Washington. Thompson was the youngest among three. Thompson wanted to pursue a career in broadcasting from an extremely young age. She graduated from Inglemoor High School located in Kenmore Washington. Thompson left for California to attend the California community college. Thompson was admitted to University of California Santa Barbara in the following year, earning a bachelor's degree. Thompson earned her degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a Bachelor's degree from the department of Law and Society. Thompson states that she did not attend Washington State University (WSU) in 2004, as Sports Illustrated claimed.
