Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is an American woman of business. she is the current president and the controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a California born and raised in a well-off family. Her father Jerry Buss was a real-estate businessman who became proprietor of the Lakers as well as other sports companies. When her parents split in 1972 and she started to feel in a sense of being abandoned emotionally. When she was 19 years old, she became the General Manager for the Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis team. Then she founded in the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She first served as vice-president of the Lakers before she assumed the position of president of the Great Western Forum. Buss as well as her five sisters inherited his Lakers majority ownership following the death of Bussher father in 2013. Every sister was given equal rights. The Lakers named her president. Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is the owner of Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles, an organization that promotes pro wrestling.
